Our Story
Vitazi began with a simple belief: retinal information should be more connected, useful, and valuable across healthcare.Vitazi.ai was founded by Jeremy Stueven, MD, MBA, an emergency physician, healthcare entrepreneur, and systems thinker.
Jeremy saw that retinal imaging held enormous potential—not only for eye care, but also for understanding health more broadly. Yet much of that value remained limited by fragmented devices, disconnected software, and images that were difficult to access and follow over time.
He founded Vitazi to connect those pieces.
What began as an effort to expand access to retinal screening evolved into a broader mission: create the infrastructure that allows retinal information to move across devices, providers, and care settings while remaining organized around the patient.
Today, Vitazi is building a vendor-neutral platform that helps eye care organizations connect imaging workflows, create longitudinal retinal records, support collaboration, and prepare data for future research and discovery.
